Thiruvananthapuram: Oppo Leader V D Sathean has written to the Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar to intervene and save some Malayalists who are stranded in Kazakhstan where riots over the increase in fuel prices have created tensions and causes some deaths in clashes with law enforcement agencies.
In his letter, Sathean said that there were some Indians working in the country, where 0 majority came from Kerala.
Besides those who work, there are also several students from the state in the country, he shows.
With the internet it is also closed, they cannot even talk to their relatives in the state.
Most of them can’t even get out of their accommodation facilities.
He said that the Ministry also had to establish Helpdesk to ensure that their details reached their relatives stranded in the country, he said.
