SBI card, Paytm hand in hand for card tokenization to protect the data holder data

New Delhi: SBI cards and payment services have been tied with Paytm for card toxenomenes to protect the data holder data.
SBI cards have collaborated with Paytm to allow card holders to book their cards on the device and make payments through Paytm, SBI cards in the submission of regulations on Thursday.
TOKENGSation refers to covering the original card number by replacing it with a series of unique characters, referred to as tokens, which secure customer card details when the transaction is in process.
SBI cards say tokenenation card facilities are only available on NFC Android devices (near field communication).
“At present, only cards released in the Indian region are activated on the paytm network.
However, customers can transact using their SBI cards through the Paytm network in the international location,” said SBI card.
