Lucknow: Former BJP Head Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), Om Prakash Rajbhar on Tuesday was surprising when he met the Head of BJP Swatantra Dev Singh in his last residence, triggering speculation about him warmly back to a turmeric party in run-up for assembly elections Next year.
When contacted, Singh told Tii that it was only a meeting of courtesy with Rajbhar without a political agenda.
“We only meet respectfully and chat,” Singh said, refused to divulge further details.
However, highly placed sources in BJP, however, said that Rajbhar seemed to get a BJP raw pulse which had deftly ignored him despite his consistent aggressive attitude to achieve the Safron Party and sabotaged ambitions to return to the office after the State Election 2022.
The meeting between the Head of BJP and Rajbhar was catalyzed by the Vice President of State BJP Power Shankar Singh.
The source said that Shankar’s power called Rajbhar – together happen to be a resident of Ballia – on Monday afternoon asking him to meet Dev Swatantra.
Rajbhar confirmed that it was over the initiation of Shankar’s power that he met with Swatantra Dev and discussed activities carried out by their respective political parties.
He also denied firmly having a political plan behind his meeting with the BJP head.
Allowed politically sad after breaking up with BJP almost two years ago, Rajbhar Ingrat has oscillated between various political parties, including Asaddun Owaisa – Leading all Indian Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen and the Chandrashekar Party Azad to strengthen A front – Bhagidaari Sankalp Morcha – to challenge the power of BJP.
Experts show that the self-concerned Rajbhar has formed his political stature by voicing the causes of MBC, especially the Rajbhar community that accounts for 7% of the total OBC block with a significant political presence in the eastern socio-economical region.
, In the 2017 assembly selection, SBSP contested as BJP allies in eight seats and won four while securing 34% of voting in contested seats.
But immediately after becoming a cabinet minister, Rajbhar began to flex his political muscles by slamming the dispensation of NDA.
BJP, however, frustrated its efforts by sustaining new MBC faces, including the Minister of Rajbhar’s Anil Anil Cabinet and Rajya Saba Sakaldeep Rajbhar.
SBSP Head Meeting with President BJP was present three days after BSP veteran and was held by MLA Sukdev Rajbhar announced his retirement from active politics while supporting his son Kamalkant Rajbhar’s decision to join Akhilesh Yadav LED SP.
Another issued by BSP MLA from Akbarpur (Ambedkarnagar) and the leader of the Veteran Party of Achal Rajbhar, also, has shown signs of gravity towards SP in what can allow Akhilesh to provide a wider room to MBCs and strong Yadav sound banks.
