New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to take pills looking for an independent investigation into the ‘Dharm Sansad’ speech which was suspected of inciting violence against the minority community.
A bench led by the Chairman of the Judge N V Ramana recorded the submission of Senior Advocate of Kapil Sibal that there was no action taken against those who made hatred speech despite pine registration.
Appearing for pet pills, senior advocate of Kapil Sibal said the country’s slogan seemed to change from ‘Satyameva Jayate’ to ‘Shasatrameva Jayate’.
“We live in a very dangerous time,” he said.
When CJI N V Ramana and Judge Surya Kant and Hima Kohli told Sibal that appeared that some actions were taken, said Sibal, “only two campfires have been made.” Bench LED Cji said it would take a problem to hear.
“Okay, we will eat the problem,” Cji said.
