New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday verbally asked the Punjab government not to take the compulsion step against the sad leader of the Singh Majithian bikram until January 31 when he heard his pre-arrest guarantee request in the case.
The bench consisting of the Chairman of the NV Judge Ramana and Judge A S Bopanna and Hima Kohli recorded the submission of senior advocate to beat Rohatgi, emerged to Majithia, that the request to seek anticipatory assurance applicant was needed hearing urgently because the defendant had faced “political vendetta”.
Pre-capture trees of Majithia, which have been ordered under the NDPS law, were dismissed by the Punjab High Court and Haryana on January 24.
