New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday declared great concern over the web portal and YouTube channel to spread fake news in the absence of regulatory mechanisms.
“If you go to YouTube, you will find out how fake news circulates are free and anyone can start the channel on YouTube,” SC bench consisting of the main justice of India NV Ramana, and Hakiman Surya Kant and a Bopanna said.
CJI added that these portals write anything against judges, institutions without accountability and only listen to strong voices.

SC controlled the police from taking coercive actions against two Twothe Supreme Court further down on several private media organizations that carry the womb with communal tones.

However, he added that many petitions were submitted in the High Court challenging new rules.
He told the best court that the center had submitted a request to transfer all these petitions to the Supreme Court.
The APEX court agreed to hear after six weeks of the central application seeking the transfer of petitions from various high courts for themselves on the issue of new IT rules that were intended to regulate online content including social media and web portals.
