New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday searched for responses from the middle on the request against the “delay in injustice and infinite” caused by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) in stating the counseling schedule for the test and the Masters of the entrance to the National Dental Surgery Course (NEET-MDS) 2021.
A bench, led by Justice D.Y.
Chandrachud, issued a notification to the center, the National Examination Board, and the Indian Dental Council at the petition submitted by several candidates of Neet-MDS.
Happy! You have managed to throw your votelogin to see the petition, submitted through Advocates Tanvi Dubey and Charu Mathur, said that the estimated efforts were made by the applicant to contact respondents in connection with counseling schedules, so far, there was no update on it.
The request was to argue that the entrance examination was held on December 16, 2020 and the results were stated on December 31, 2020.
However, months have passed, and there is no update on the counseling schedule.
The petition looks for directions to MCC to release the earliest counseling date, and no later than three weeks.
It also citizes concerns related to holding joint counseling for NEET-PG and NEET-MDS, because the first has been postponed until August 31.
Applicants argue that the same wait will further postpone the Counseling of NEET-MDS, and urged the top court to issue directions to MCC to do separate counseling for NEET-MDS 2021 and not waiting for Neet-PG counseling.
The request said: “From the record the last years, it is clear that the duration of time between the NEET-PG examination and the announcement of the results of at least one month.
Furthermore, the counseling schedule for the NEET-PG was released three months after the results.
Therefore, it is not realistic to regulate Counseling for both tests together, because it will postpone counseling for Neet-MDS candidates and will cause undue difficulties for the Neet-MDS candidates.
