SC refused to consider centralized portal applications giving real-time info about essential covid commodities

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has refused to consider the request to look for instructions to maintain a centralized portal to disseminate real-time information about important commodities related to Covid-19.
The bench consisting of Judge Dy Chandrachud, Vikram Nath and Hima Kohli direct the applicant to move the Ministry of Health and the welfare of the family to consider suggestions including the need for centralized portals for Covid commodities such as oxygen cylinders, oxygen concentrators, and drugs needed during infection.
“Because the applicant has several suggestions, it will be appropriate to give him the freedom to move the Ministry of Health and the welfare of the family to consider advice including the need for a centralized portal.” Said it may be questioned at the appropriate level.

The APEX court was hearing a request by the SFS School Boys Association which looked for instructions for the portal.
