New Delhi: The Supreme Court Thursday refused to direct CBSE and CISCE to provide hybrid mode options, instead of offline mode only, for class 10 and 12 examinations, by saying improperly to disrupt this stage process.
The APEX court notes that the term one council test from the Central Secondary Education Council (CBSE) has been started from November 16 while the semester of the Council Board exam for the Indian School Certificate (CISCE) exam will begin on November 22.
The bench consisting of Judge A M Khanwilkar and C T Ravikumar was informed by lawyer General Tushar Mehta, who represented the CBSE, that all precautions had been taken to conduct a board exam in offline mode and the inspection center had increased from 6,500 to 15,000.
