New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected the direction of the request to CBSE and Cisce to provide the choice of “hybrid mode” to students who will appear for class 10 and 12 examination.
Judge Am Khanwilkar and CT Ravikumar said it was inappropriate to intervene and disturb the whole process.
Tushar Mehta Public Lawyer, who represented the CBSE, convinced the court that all precautions would be taken to conduct examinations in offline mode and also inform the bench that the number of inspection centers increased from 6,500 to 15,000.
The Apex Court noted that the main exam 1 CBSE board has been started from November 16, while the first semester of the Cissile Board exam will begin on November 22.
The above court heard the request submitted by the sixth year’s instructions.
CBSE and CISCE to remove revised rounds to conduct grade 10 and 12 examinations in hybrid mode, instead of offline mode only, considering Covid-19.
The court said students must have faith and trust in the council authority which will take all the care to ensure that the exam participants and staff are not exposed to unwanted situations.
