New Delhi: The Supreme Court Tuesday ordered that the Public Prosecutor could not attract criminal cases against parliamentarians accused of using crpc (CRPC) code without sanctions from the High Court.
A bench led by the Chairman of the Judge N V Ramana also said that it was considering setting a special bench in the top field to monitor cases of politicians.
The bench, which also consisted of Vineet Judge and Surya Kant, ordered a special court judge, a hearing case against parliamentarians and MLA, would not be transferred until the order further.
This directs the generals registrants from all high courts to provide information, in certain formats, about cases decided by a special court against parliamentarians.
It also looks for detailed cases that are delayed and their stages before court courts.
The order came after the upper court examined the Senior Vijay Hansaria advocate report and Lawyer Sneha Kalita who helped the bench.
The bench heard the 2016 pill submitted by lawyers and BJP leaders Ashwini Upadhyay with a quick tracking of criminal trials against MP and MLAS in addition to looking for life prohibitions on politicians fighting from polls.
