The Supreme Court on Tuesday said that he would consider listening to the request to find directions to the Election Commission to ensure that political parties published details on candidate criminal cases along with their choices on their website.
A bench consisting of the main justice of India and Ramana and Judge A Bopanna and Hya Kohli were urged by attorney Ashwini Upadhyay, who had submitted a pill in his personal capacity, that the application was registered with an ongoing election process.
“The nomination for the first phase of elections has begun and political parties and candidates roughly violate two assessments of the APEX court,” said the lawyer.
“We will consider it.
