Nagpur: almost 13 days after forming a five-member committee to investigate the fraud of stationery in a special general body meeting by the Mayor of Dayashankar Tiwari on December 31, NMC on Thursday applied the formation of a panel led by the leader of the ruling party and BJP Corporator Avinash Thakre.
Opposition leader Tansaji Wanve and former Chairman of the Committee standing Vijay Zalke moved the movement at home to discuss the fraud of RS67 Lakh stationery.
The house witnessed a storm discussion about this problem.
It took thirteen days to approve the minutes of this discussion and the mayor’s order.
The mayor’s committee is sealed by administration today.

Apart from Thakre, Opposition leader Tansaji Wanve, BSP Corporator Vaishali Narnaware, Senior BJP Corporator and former Chairman of the Fixed Committee Sandeep Jadhav, BJP Corporator and lawyer Sanjay Balpande is a member of the Demand Committee.
Five people, including two NMC employees, have been arrested in fraud.
Because of this fraud, financial irregularities in the corporation appear forward.
The Thakre LED panel will begin investigating from Friday.
