Secunderabad: While some housing bags under the neighboring GHMC boundaries have recorded 100% vaccination, those under the Cantonment Council of Secunderabad (SCB) are left behind.
So far, at least three or four GHMC colonies – including Uttam Nagar at Malkajgiri GHMC Circle and Vijayapuri Colony (Tarnaka) at the Secunderabad GHMC Circle – have reached the Cental Centage Vaksin.
In comparison, not a single colony under SCB has managed to do it.
SCB officials blame the lack of vaccines and great delays in bottles allocated for the center.
“There are still many doubts among people …
even though we have opened enough central, footsteps are not too impressive,” said a SCB official.
The board has around 300 colonies below its limits, with a population of 3.89 lakh.
Officials said they had opened 10 centers for people to take vaccines.
Meanwhile, the residents of Uttam Nagar were expanded on the certificate of praise for 100% vaccination.
“There are more than 1,400 households here and every resident, including 18 years and above, has taken a shot,” said former Secretary General of Uttam Nagar Colony Rwa, K Raghavendra Rao.
Likewise, Rwas from the colony of Vijayapuri and Bathukammakunta Colony in Mettuguda also valued because they get all vaccinated residents.
