Vadodara: Ten Girl Students of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Parul (FTE) have benefited from the Sikshana Foundation in the Technical Scholarship Program.
Scholarship Program ‘Women in Engineering’ by the Sikshana Foundation aims to promote gender equality in the field of engineering by supporting female students from rural areas with scholarships and resources to excel in their careers.
The girls recently received a laptop and scholarship worth Rs 9,750 sponsored by ABB-Hitachi.
Scholarships have been given to encourage girls to take technical subjects and provide their skills of the right encouragement.
“More young girls are now tending to eat careers in engineering.
Over the years, techniques are career and women who are dominated by men have been very represented in the industry,” said Dr.
Unnati Joshi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
