Thiruvananthapuram: Sai Krishna Public School, Chenkal, has received a place in American record books and European notebooks to conduct an online quiz involving students and teachers in 210 subjects for 210 days during the Covid locking period.
Because of the pandemic situation, the certificate is sent to the school authority via email.
The quiz program was proposed by the School Administrator Mohuggumaran Nair, which has also published a book based on the quiz that has been done.
“When the Kuncian goes into force, it is a difficult time for students and teachers.
So, I plan to do something to engage and encourage them and finally get an idea to do a quiz.
We do a quiz at 8:30 a.m.
every day through WhatsApp.
Use different methods to do quizzes, including photo identification, cartoons, caricatures and so on, “said Mohanakumanan Nair.
At first, the teacher participated in the competition quiz which lasted for 100 days.
Then we planned it for senior students from class VIII to XII with a completely new subject.
“I never imagined we would set a new record.
My goal is to help teachers and students with their mental well-being,” he said.
School authorities said they had received favorable support and comments from parents too.
