Rajkot: School Director in Rajkot District was booked on Saturday night for allegedly persecuting two class IX classes.
Dinesh Joshi, who was accused, who was the school director at Lodhika Taluka, had called two girls in a room and was forcibly embraced and touched them not exactly a few days ago.
He called the girls to teach them some spelling.
One of the girls told her parents about it and said that in the past too, Joshi hugged other girls while they would write on the school bulletin board.
Parents then told other parents about school about Joshi’s behavior.
On Saturday, because the school was closed, around 100 parents reached the Lodhika police station to register complaints against Joshi.
Meanwhile, Joshi’s wife Seema Joshi, who was President of Mahila Morcha from the BJP Rajkot District Unit, learned about meeting parents against her husband at the police station.
Seema reached the police station along with BK Satya, former President of the BJP Rajkot District Unit.
When reaching the police station, the duo tried to talk to parents who made them more angry.
Great Ruckus happened outside the police station for the duo intervention.
The police finally had to calm the situation.
Later, based on the mother’s complaint from one of the girls, Joshi was ordered to persecute, criminal intimidation and under the scheduled caste and scheduled tribes (prevention of cruelty) acted also because the girl was Dalit.
The police have not arrested the defendant.
