School find it difficult to maintain social distance

Written by news2in

Coimbatore: Pancrayat Union Primary School (PUP) in Kuniyamuthur has 1,065 students in class I-V.
Because schools only have seven classrooms that accommodate more than 200 children in each class, it is difficult to maintain social distance among students in the classroom.
This has happened many elementary schools in the regency facing space after the reopening of the school for all classes.
“We only asked half of class III and V students to come to school on Monday because we did not want the class to be crowded.
In this way, we can have students only once a week,” said a teacher from Kuniamuthur Pupps.
However, many private schools choose to invite all students and do schools for half a day.
They say that all students need to come to class every day after reopening because the alternative day class may not work.
“It might not be possible to take online classes for half of class and offline classes for other parts of the same class students because they will need two class teachers.
Therefore, we choose to have all students at school,” a teacher from a private school in Saanallur said.
“We can manage on Monday because fewer children appear on the first day reopened.
But we must make alternative arrangements when more students will appear in the coming days.
Continuity will be affected in an alternative day class that might not serve the purpose Offline class, “said Master Day.
Some students may be asked to come in the morning and a few more at night.
