Mangaluru: After months of closing due to Covid-19 pandemic, schools in Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka were opened on Friday for 8-10 standard students.
A number of students attended attended the first day of physical class, said sources in the Ministry of Education.
Some schools report more than 60 percent of attendance.

According to instructions from district administration, schools must regulate the proper basic sanitation and facilities.
The school was also asked to arrange accommodation of students who came from neighboring Kerala.
The government also asked staff and teachers to attend schools with a negative report on RT-PCR tests.
