Mangaluru: Government schools in remote villages in Belthangady Taluk are conducting online assembly every morning, through the Google Meet platform.
The idea is to give the nuances of the school environment to children, which is now a shortage of classes present on campus, because of the Pandemic Covid-19.
Apart from online class, teachers in elementary school government, Perlabaiipady, Belthangady Taluk, experimenting to make an assembly online.
It began a week ago and included all activities held during the regular school assembly carried out in the area.
This activity has been interested in students, who are now patiently waiting for the online assembly session every morning.
This initiative thanks to the efforts of Nalini Silvester and Devika teachers.
“The idea of this online school assembly is to give students the nuance of the school campus while at home.
Meanwhile, there are many students, especially those who have joined class I, who have never attended school meetings.
Also, some young students who have attended it , have forgotten it, “Nalini said.

This school has approached 80 students studying from class I to VII.
Only has two teachers, led by Nalini.
Parents of children work in the agricultural sector and some daily wage workers.
A total of 65 students have access to smartphones with the internet.
“Enthusiasm in such a way that some of them logged and waited for assembly for more than 30 minutes.
In fact, those who did not have a smartphone, rushed to the house of their nearby colleagues, who had entered for the Assembly,” Nalini said.
The school assembly is usually held starting at 10:30 a.m., for about 10-15 minutes.
There will be no session when the class is scheduled to channel the chandana.
Devaki said that students, alternately, began by singing toneghe, after that they would read the news that day, make a reading in various languages, talking about students who have read students, read multiplication tables, do quizzes, and peak with national song songs.
