Mangaluru: After six months of closing, the school campus in Dakshina Kannada was reopened on Friday for 8-10 standards.
Block education officials (BeOS) said that a number of students arrived on campus to attend offline classes.
Some schools have a 60% presence while some presence is more than 80%, while some schools decide to open only from Monday.
All schools are cleaned and dissed.
Some schools are decorated with flowers and bunting to welcome students.
Classes for class 6 and 7 will start from September 20.
Offline classes for students from class 6-10 will be divided into two parts – morning and evening sessions to avoid rush at school.
Classes for class 9 and 10 will be held in the morning up to 1.30 in the afternoon and 8th grade students will have a class in the afternoon until 16:30.
