Bhubaneswar: Schools in the city are busy preparing students for the CBSE board test term, which will begin in the third week of November.
For the first time, the exam will be carried out in a multiple choice format, according to the revised pattern.
Many city schools have begun to do mock tests in online and offline mode to make students get acquainted with a new pattern.
The presence of students in the offline exam was very encouraging, said the authorities of various city schools.
“We are happy to see many who attend practice tests and pre-councils at school,” said Niharika Gantayat, Academic Supervisor of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur.
CBSE has divided the council test into two parts, term 1 and terms 2.
Exam term 1 will be a 90 minute paper and contain objective type questions, while the term 2 will be a subjective type test.
The term term 1 will start at 11:30 a.m.
Twenty minutes, not before 15, will be given to examinees to read questions.
The results will come out after the term exam 1.
