Jaipur: Schools in Rajasthan will be reopened for grades 9 to 12 of September 1, and detailed standard operating procedures incurred on Tuesday must be followed strictly, the State Education Department said.
The department has also decided to reduce the school curriculum of 30 percent, and students will be evaluated every month now, Minister of School Education Govind Singh Dotasra said here.
“Because Covid-19, classes at school cannot be continued in the last three months, which caused interference in the study.
Also, there is a need to reduce the curriculum of 30 percent in all state schools.
The decision was made,” he said.
“The department has made preparations for the possibility of the third wave of Covid-19, and we have now decided to take the test every month to evaluate students.
These test results will be used to evaluate students every time needed in the future,” Dotasra added.
The minister expressed hope that the Coronavirus guidelines will soon be issued by the center so that the school can be opened for children.
The state government relates to the Indian Medical Research Council, and the minister’s chairman repeatedly discussed the situation with experts and doctors, he said.
Each further decision will be taken considering the situation, Dotasra added.
He said the SOP released by the department must be followed, and the teacher must have taken a vaccine dose.
