Kolkata: The West Bengal government on Tuesday appealed on the Calcutta High Court Division bench, challenging the command of a single bench which directed the CBI to conduct an investigation into alleged irregularities in the appointment of middle group workers.
Appealing is likely to come to hear before the division bench was fenced by the Tandon Daily justice on Wednesday.

Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay on Monday ordered the CBI to investigate alleged irregularities in the appointment of group D staff in the school assisted / sponsoring under the West West Secondary Education Council (WBBSE) on the SSC service recommendations (SSC).

SSC has claimed before the court that it did not provide a recommendation letter for one of the 25 designated names submitted before the court by the applicant.
The judge directed the Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to form a committee, led by an officer who was not under the rank of the Joint Director, with officers not below the excavation rating to start an investigation.
The court directed the CBI to submit an initial report before on December 21, when the order further in this case will be passed.
The order was forwarded to the petition by several prospective jobs claiming that the appointment was given to people after the expiration of the panel was proposed for the position of Group D staff in assisted and secondary school and has resulted in a list of accused of being appointed before the court.
Judge Gangopadhyay directed that a copy of the alleged list of people appointed illegally and a copy of all written statements used in this case including the WRIT application was handed over to the CBI advocate at 3 pm on Wednesday.
