Questionnaires, uploaded online, have 43 questions based on categories such as general information, education, work, health, leadership, and others.
This survey also talks about child marriage, drug abuse, and covid.
School children will leave some irrelevant questions for their age group.
According to a teacher from North Carnataka, some students have completed a survey online, while some are fighting for network problems.
“The government should also provide an option to take it offline.
The question, the apt, touch subjects like how Covid has an impact on their lives.
Many troubled rural children because of the pandemic, and youth policies must be framed by considering this,” the teacher added.
The survey was conducted by the empowerment of youth and sports department.
The department has formed a committee led by R Ballasubramanam to frame policies.
Balasubramanam told TOI: “This survey is to get input from the ground.
Unless we seek the opinion of youth, the policy will be incomplete.
This will be compiled after opinion collection exercises.
To implement the same thing, the committee has also suggested a routine review policy implementation.
