Lucknow: School in Uttar Pradesh will remain closed until February 15 even though the online class will continue.
This decision was taken considering the increasing Covid case.
According to orders issued by the addition of the head of the house secretary, Avanish Awasthi, the closing date of the school has been extended from January 30 to February 15.
He said that online classes will continue to remember the upcoming secondary board test.
Although the Covid case at Uttar Pradesh has shown a downward trend, the country reported 10,937 new cases on Wednesday, taking the total number of active cases to 80,342.
Lucknow himself has reported 2096 new cases on Wednesday.
