Schools, Colleges in Delhi are not sure of return on September 1

New Delhi: Most private schools say that reopened from September 1 for class IX students to XII may be difficult.
However, practices for class X and XII students will continue.
Many schools will make decisions about reopening depending on the approval of parents.
For colleges and universities too, it was a waiting scenario and watching because the internal meeting was reopened not yet held.
Jyoti Arora, Principal of Mount Abu, Rohini, said, “On Tuesday, we will send the approval form to parents.
The most important thing, we must revive school transportation.
Previously, we used 12 buses on different routes.
We Must look for the opinions of parents about how many want to take the bus.
“Indian schools will also send approval forms to parents.
“Depending on the response we get from parents, arrangements will be made,” Tania Joshi said, the principal.
Schools such as Mount Carmel, Dwarka has decided to wait until October and will reopen after seeing government experiences and other schools.
With Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) asked the school principal to treat staff vaccinations as a priority, most school principals said only those who had received at least one dose was called.
“Some teachers get Covid, so while they have taken the first dose, they haven’t got the second,” Joshi said.
In government schools too, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said 98 of the staff had received the first dose of vaccines.
Sarita Batra, Printibha Vidyalaya Pratibha Principal, Shalimar Bagh, is quite sure that children can be called from September 1.
“All teachers have come and we have had a district level workshop on the reopening of the school.
Because DDMA orders only allow the capacity of seating 50 %, students will be divided into batches and call on rotation, “he added.
University of Delhi and Ambedkar University will hold a meeting on Tuesday to decide on modalities.
“We can hold a meeting on Tuesday with the Dean and college head.
Students Outstation must be given at least 10 days of time to come to Delhi for practices,” Vikas Gupta said, Du Registrar.
AUD Deputy Chancellor Anu Father said, “I will talk to the dean of how reopened can be done.
But I have ordered to clean and sanitize campus.”
