Patna: Given the Covid-19 pandemic, most of the schools and colleges in the city will celebrate teacher’s day once more.
Some educational institutions have decided to invite only the teachers on Sunday.
For example, Gyan Niketan School and Open Mind: Birla’s school will celebrate the day with their teacher.
Deputy Principal of Gyan Niketan, Shailendra Mohan, told this newspaper, “All teachers will attend the event on Saturday, but only class XII students will participate in this program.” An open mind teacher, Sanjay Kumar Tiwary, said, “Only the teachers will come to school on Sunday.” With the intention of ensuring the safety of teachers and students, Bihar National College will celebrate that day on Sunday.
