Kolkata: West Bengal Bengal Head Mamata Banerjee on Monday announced that schools and colleges in the state will be reopened from November 15.
He also directed the main secretary to facilitate the process.
Banerjee, after attending an administrative review meeting at Uttar Kanya in Siliguri, asked Secretary of the Head H K Dwivedi to ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of educational institutions before they reopened.
Schools and colleges in the state have been closed since the plague of Pandemi Covid-19 in March last year.
