Agartala: The Tripura Government has decided to reopen schools for grade 6 to 12 students, along with other higher education institutions, from Wednesday, officials said.
The government has issued two separate notifications with detailed guidelines regarding the resumption of physical classes in schools and other academic institutions.

According to government notices, all schools must function in a single or double shift, depending on the space available in the classroom.
Authorities have been asked to ensure that alternative seats in school remain uninhabited.
Students and teachers have been asked to obey Norma Covid-19.
“As a grade 5 teacher and below do not have a regular class to be taken, they will be involved in the campaign to pursue the Nutun Disha program (state government initiatives aimed at making all students efficient and capable),” Notice is said.
Separate notifications issued by the Director of Higher Education NC Sharma said universities, institutes and universities (general, technical and professional) will also be reopened from Wednesday.
The faculty has been instructed to regulate additional classes, if necessary.
If an adequate space is not available or there is a lack of teachers, the Institute has been notified to set a different time slot for batches, or other sizes they find accordingly.
However, the hostel will be reopened on September 1, maintaining all guidelines issued by the state government, notifications added.
