NEW DELHI: Even the colleges in Delhi won’t open soon, stated deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia on Monday while he visited four colleges in which building activities were happening in town.
“Bearing in mind that the safety and safety of kids, we aren’t calling pupils back to college anytime soon.
We are, nevertheless, ensuring that the building work for improved and new classrooms is performed at a quick pace in order that if kids do wind up returning to college, they’re well versed with the newest and lively classrooms with all the best amenities,” explained Sisodia.
He also visited four Delhi government colleges — SKV Kondli, GGSS Kalyanpuri, Government Co-ed School in IP Extension and Government Co-ed Senior Secondary College in Preet Vihar– in which new classrooms have been constructed.
The building job at SKV Kondli college is 90 percent complete and is prepared by end of the month.
At the moment, 20 new classrooms have been assembled at SKV Kondli.
Likewise, 97 percent of building work is complete in GGSS Kalyanpuri School, together with 20 new classrooms at the process of being assembled.
The building work to construct 84 new classrooms in Government Co-ed, IP Extension is currently 90% complete and the college building is going to be finish by July.
The classroom building work is 84 percent complete in Government Co-ed Senior Secondary School, Preet Vihar.
It’ll be prepared by August and will sponsor 48 brand new classrooms.
“Classrooms must be equipped with advanced facilities.
The universities and schools should be made bearing in mind the mind of their kids.
We need to look colleges in a manner they are interactive, so when pupils return to schools and also examine their colourful courses, they’re encouraged to understand and participate,” Sisodia informed the officers.
