Patna: In the midst of increasing Covid-19 cases, the Bihar government on Thursday announced that all schools, colleges, coaching centers, and hostels would remain closed until January 21.
“All schools, colleges, coaching centers, and hostels will remain closed until January 21,” said the government Bihar.
Government and private offices will function with the presence of 50 percent of staff.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Bihar government enacted a new sidewalk by applying night hours throughout the state from 10pm to 5 in the morning from 6 to 21 January.
In accordance with orders by the state government, “pre-school and 1 to 8 classes to stay close, online class will continue.
9-12 class education institutions will function at a capacity of 50 percent.
Restrictions will remain valid from January 6 to 21.”
Meanwhile, Bihar reported 1659 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours on Wednesday.
At present, Bihar has a total of 3697 cases of active CCovid, with a recovery rate of 97.84 percent.
