New Delhi: The 21st meeting of the State Chief Council SCO (Shanghai Cooperation) will be held on September 17 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan in a hybrid format.
The meeting will be chaired by President Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
While Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the Indian delegation and overcome the plenary session from the SCO Summit through the video-link, Minister of External Affairs Dr.
S Jaishankar will represent the country in Dushanbe.
The summit will be attended by leaders of SCO member countries, state observers, Secretary General of SCO, Executive Director of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure SCO (Mice), President Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Dimuhamedow and other guests invited.
This is the first SCO peak detained in hybrid and fourth format that India will participate as a full SCO member.
This summit assumes significance because the organization celebrates the 20th anniversary of this year.
At the top, leaders are expected to review organizational activities over the past two decades and discuss the country and the prospects of cooperation in the future.
Topical problems of regional and international interests are also expected to be discussed.
