NEW DELHI/MUMBAI: A scramble for meeting slots amongst candidates who must combine US schools this fall resulted in glitches around the embassy portal because it declared processing student visas in India on Monday.
“We’re alert to the high need for student visa appointments.
Please remember, don’t refresh too frequently, because you might be locked from your accounts.
Appointments stay available at all articles, and we are going to continue to include appointments conditions permit,” the US embassy said in a tweet on Monday once it declared the procedure for easing travel for people who need to join schools in July and August.
Pupils who maintained sterile in the expectation of reserving a slot proved finally blocked for”questionable activity” to get 72 hours.
By day, the website had a message which stated:”We’re down for maintenance”.
The embassy’s conversation warning students to not refresh too frequently attracted scores of responses.
“My account has locked with no previous warning.
Some more are confronting this problem also.

The consulate had held a webinar on June 10 to hand out advice regarding visas interviews along with pre-boarding requirements.
