New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi spoke with the gold medalist Javelin Neeraj Chopra, congratulated Him for his achievements and survived with a difficult training schedule despite being postponed for a year caused by a covid pandemic.

He said the success in the Tokyo match was due to hard work and confidence.
Chopra thanked PM for his encouragement.
In 2019, when Chopra recovered from an injury, Modi said it well and said he would soon return to the field.

PM invited Chopra to August 15 in the celebration of independence day.
The Indian Olympic contingent will be a special invitation at Fort Red, followed by dinner organized by PM at his residence.
