Letter: Decree of the upcoming Diamond Exchange Management Committee (SDB) in the letter has collected many eyebrows on the Mumbai Diamond market.
According to a circular issued by SDB, the names of members who shift their business from Mumbai to a letter will be installed at the reception of SDB for life under the list of ‘leading SDB members who start trade in diamonds’.
Also, they don’t need to pay maintenance costs for the first six months.
However, clarified in the round that members can buy diamonds from anywhere, but cannot send samples or sell products from Mumbai.
That is, the members must stop selling diamonds from Mumbai and start selling from SDB.
Also, this offer is only available for those who started selling from SDB before December 31, 2022 .
