Mumbai: A 43-year-old peer of Chandivli in Saki Naka was cheated from almost Rs 1.6 lakh after ordering wine online from the contact number he got on the internet Livingz Shop and ordered Rs 9,590 and asked for home delivery.
The victim submitted a case on December 7 with the Saki Naka police after being accused of making it a part with a password once (OTP) to reverse the transaction he made from two credit cards.
Fraud occurred on December 2 when the victim found a fake number 18004120308 which was marked by Living Liquidz Shop.
The money was sucked after the victim was called a cheater to check the delay in the delivery of liquor.
“Many people have fallen by the victim so far while trying to order wine online.
