Bhubaneswar: Because the delay in acquisition of land is a major obstacle in the implementation of expeditions from various national highway projects, the Department of Revenue has directed the district authorities to accelerate project land acquisition and directed to resolve issues related to land acquisition by coordinating with officials at different levels.
Official sources say ACS (income) expressed his dissatisfaction for the delay in the completion of the Cuttack-Angul section of the NH-55 and poor stretch conditions caused the problem on commuting.
He directed the NHAI authorities to take the initial settlement steps of the project.
NHA sources say the cuttack-angul section of the NH-55, which has been taken with an investment of more than RS 1800 Crore, will be completed in June this year.
