Coimbatore: Food and civil supplies minister R Sakkarapani inaugurated the supply of the next instalment of this Covid-19 dole of Rs 2,000 and ration kit comprising 14 things into the rice cardholders from the district on Tuesday.
The strategy would help 10.31 lakh households in the area.
An announcement by the district government said that the team members of ration stores had distributed components into the beneficiaries in their doorsteps approximately four days back to make sure hassle-free supply of this Covid-19 dole by adhering to each of the normal working procedures.
The dole will be distributed to 200 beneficiaries in a ration store every day.
The stores would work on each of the seven times per week from 9am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 5pm, ” the announcement said.
To make sure the dole reaches the inheritance with no malpractices, a source saidan official at the status of deputy collector has been deployed in every block.
The source stated 10.09 lakh beneficiaries had received the initial instalment of their dole from the district.
“People who have not gathered the exact same can collect it together with their next instalment.
Additionally, those who have not got the tokens to get the next instalment may go to the ration stores next week and then gather the dole.” In Arabian Tirupur district, publicity and information ministry M Saminathan along with adi dravidar welfare ministry Kalyalvizhi Selvaraj jointly diluting the dole supply.
At Tirupur, 7.56 lakh rice cardholders are entitled to get the dole.
