Sector 47 is the cleanest colony in noida

Noida: Some major projects were launched in twin cities on Saturday for Mark Gandhi Jayanti.
While the two-foot and park bridges were launched in Noida, the first public toilet in Greater Noida was discarded open to the public near Surajpur Trisection.
Noida Authority was also awarded Swasch Prize – Sector 47 Housing Colonies and Sector 18 Markets were decided as the cleanest in the city.
The two-foot bridge – one in the 16A sector and the others near Mahamaya Flyover – launched by MP Noida Mahesh Sharma and MLA Pankaj Singh before senior authority officials, including the Maheswari CEO.
Authority has spent Rs 4.92 Crore and Rs 5.77 Crore, respectively, to build a two-foot bridge, it is expected to bring assistance to hundreds of pedestrians who want to cross busy stretches.
Senior authority officials also inaugurated a park in Sector 77, which was developed with a budget of RS 1.24 Crore.
Likewise, senior senior authority officials on Saturday opened a public toilet near Surajpur Crossing for commuters.
Authority has begun working to build 30 such toilets across Greater Noida.
Officials said that 17 of them would be ready for a month.
The location of the toilet will appear is the city park, jagat farm, alpha commercial belt, chowk and kasna ray stop.
Nine out of a total of 30 will be a pink toilet, officials said.
Noida authorities also distribute prizes to population groups and market associations to keep their place clean.
Sector 47 was decided the cleanest colony in Noida, while Arun Vihar Ward 2a in Sector 28 pocketed the second place in the Internal Swacch (cleanliness).
Likewise, the Association of the owner of the Grand Oonaxe apartment in the 93B sector received the association of the owner of the apartment and the first century in the 100 sector in second place in the apartment category.
The commercial park and dining connection, the 18th sector market was decided the most hygienic and clean, while the Brahmaputra market in sector 28 and the Kanchanjunga market in sector 53 each pocketed the second and third spot.
“We received Internal Selfch awards from the Noida Authority for the third year in a row.
Markets and Commercial Complexes cannot be kept clean without collaborative efforts.
And I am happy that our efforts are recognized by this year’s authority,” SK Jain, President of the Sector Market Association 18, to Ti.
Authority also distributes awards to hospitals, hotels and educational institutions.
