Noida: Sector 99 residents complained about lack of power infrastructure in their area.
They said that only one panel box for an electrical connection provided to the sector consisting of around 190 plots ranged from 112 square meters and 450 square meters.
While the authority of Noida developed this sector in 2008 and was set a plot until 2011, only around 15 families live in this sector and many have carried out basic construction because they are waiting for adequate power connections.
Department of strength, meanwhile, stated that estimates to put cables and cables were expected immediately from the headquarters in Meerut.
Rishipal Singh Awana, President of Rwa from Sector 99, said that they faced problems in obtaining electrical connections for houses in this sector over the past few years.
“The availability of electricity infrastructure, is one of the main reasons for low occupants in this sector,” Singh said, who had written a letter to the Power Noida Department and had marked a copy to the CEO of the Noida Authority.
According to Singh, Noida authorities developed this sector in 2008-09 and was allocated around 190 plots from 2011 and so on to home buyers.
He added that even though the authority handed over all electrical infrastructure to Paschimanchal Vital Vitran Nigam Ltd (PVVNL), there was a lack of electricity, cable, feeder panel etc.
in the field.
“Supply is provided only through one panel box.
As a result, the plot owner faces the challenge in obtaining an electrical connection for construction activities and is provided with a heavy estimate with PVVNL for the same thing with no electricity or cable lines near their plot.
At the same time, The authority issued a notification to the plot owner for the cancellation of the plot because of non-construction, “said Singh, adding that only 15 families lived in this sector.
When contacted, VN Singh, Head of Zonal Engineer Noida Department (PVVNL), said that he did not realize the situation.
“Maybe the discussion takes place with a responsible area.
I will check with the executive engineer concerned to find out all problems and have been investigated,” he said.
