Security at three leading train stations in Mumbai Bungalow and Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been estimated after police receive anonymous calls on bombs placed in these locations, officials said.
However, no suspicious has been found during the search so far, he said.
The main control room of the Mumbai police received a call on Friday night, where the caller said that the bomb had been placed in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Byculla, Dadar Railway Station and in Bachchan’s Amitabh Bachchan Bungalow in Juhu, said police officials.
“After receiving a telephone, the government train police, the strength of the train protection along with detection of bombs and disposal forces, local police teams and police personnel rushed to this location and conducted search operations,” he said.
“Nothing suspicious has been found so far in this place, but the spread of heavy police has been put in place there,” he said, adding that further investigation was active.
