MUZAFFARNAGAR: Security was tightened at Union minister Sanjeev Balyan’s house on Monday following Hindu Kranti Dal activists attempted to stage a dharna outside the BJP leader’s home over his interview with all zila panchayat member Shahnawaz.
The activists alleged that Shahnawaz is supposedly engaged in a bunny slaughter situation and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ought to maintain a distance away from these folks.
Since the activists attempted to visit the minister’s house, authorities intercepted them.
Afterwards, they staged a dharna in Mahabir Chowk here and offered a memorandum to city magistrate Abhishek Singh.
