Security to be improved at Mahabodhi Temple

Style: The state government has decided to further improve security at Mahabodhi Mahavihara, a World Heritage site, for tourist safety and worshipers.
Bihar Military Police (BMP) Jawan who was represented at the temple will be given a training equivalent to the Force Security Industrial Central (CISF) personnel.
BMP’s Jawan will be dialed in a radius of two kilometers from Mahavihara.
Since the explosion series bomb in Bodh style on July 7, 2013, security in Mahavihara has been improved.

Every corner and corner of the temple campus has been covered with closed circuit-circuit television cameras (CCTV).

These decisions were taken after a two-day security review from Mahavihara by Special Branch Director General (ADG) Bachchu Singh Meena on Thursday and Friday.
Blueprint for enhanced security settings will be prepared within a week.
Sleuth, BMP and district police personnel will retain extra vigils in the zone of not around Mahavihara for vehicle traffic.
The SSP Style Aditya Kumar said that ADG reviewed the compliance of previous decisions about security in Mahavihara.
