Lucknow: Repeating the Ambition of Indian Government for Digital Work Culture, Defense Secretary Ajay Kumar Saturday emphasizes the importance of using technology to ensure the ease of life and business at Lucknow Cantonment.
Kumar made a one day visit.

Technology such as e-Chhawani applications is a star product that ensures a rapid, efficient and time-bound response to public complaints and the requirements of people living in Canton.

He also interacted with public representatives from Lucknow Cantonment, where he was handed into a memorandum by the conscious leader of the Bazaar Trade Union Satvir Singh Raju.
In memorandum, the union asks the Secretary of the defense to intervene and get the current Cantonment rules ‘LEASE LAND’ which is abolished for local residents who have invested in running a business in defense plantation land and settled for years.
Then after interaction with public representatives, the Defense Secretary highlighted the initiative taken by the government for 62 areas of the Cantonment throughout the country, including increasing grants according to the population, eliminating permission requirements for small repairs, and reducing the number of documents needed to start a business.
He also stressed that the brave stories that lay their lives for the nation must be forwarded to children.
“The Indian government has launched the Galantry Indian award portal which brings details of all Gallantry award winners.
Students and the younger generation must be aware of such courage who died for the country,” added Ajay Kumar.
