Former Calangute Sarpanch Anthony Menezes, who recently stopped the Congress, has been given a nod to cross the sword with Congress Congress Michael Lobo.
Former Secretary GPCC Mahadev Dessai, who stopped Congress on Friday with 46 members of the Canacona Block, will compete from Canacona.
He has served as Chair of the Canacona City Council and his nomination can make things difficult for Congress and BJP.
TMC has chosen Leao Dias, Anthony Peixoto and Mahesh Amonkar for the contest from Siolim, Curorim and Margao.
