Panaji / Bicholim: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant filed nominations to contest as BJP candidate from the constituency Sakhali on Thursday.
Sawant has won the assembly elections of 2012 and 2017 and then was appointed to the position of chief minister after the death of former chief minister Manohar Parrikar in 2019.
“I have filed my nomination.
There is enthusiasm among karyakartas and with the same enthusiasm we will once again win of Sakhali by a large margin, “he said.
Sawant submit nominations before Election GOA BJP responsible for Devendra Fadnavis.
“To create a self Goa, the Goa BJP will choose and will make our elected with absolute majority,” said Sawant.
Sawant said that during the 2017 assembly elections, the BJP had won three seats in Bicholim Taluka and this time also will win Mayem, Bicholim and Sakhali.
The Chief Minister said that Fadnavis guide the whole team BJP in Goa for the election.
He exudes confidence that with the blessing of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President A P nadda, “BJP will once again form the government in Goa twin engines”.
On whether BJP faced anti-breeder, Sawant said, “Instead of anti-breeder, I would say that anything has been done by the government’s development of double machine, it would benefit the BJP in Goa.” Fadnavis said that there was a wave of enthusiasm among people in Goa.
“Sawant is a clean face and smiling and also a chief minister of youth.
People like Sawant always choice of the person you love.
I am sure that Sawant would win by a large margin.” He also said that the BJP would cross the 22 seats in the election assembly.
