PANAJI: MGP President Deepak ‘Pandurang’ Dhavalikar on Wednesday accused BJP from spreading rumors about MGP walking out of his alique with TMC and said his party was “afraid of losing”.
Dhavalikar said the MGP-TMC alliance remained strong.
The discussion of sharing seats is expected to be completed on Thursday.
“There is a fake news propaganda created by several national parties to create confusion between voters and candidates,” Dhavalikar said.
“We have declared our pre-polling alliance with TMC.” He said TMC-MGP Alliance would announce a list of second candidates in the next 24-48 hours.
“We have given our words to TMC and we will obey our Word.
How to create confusion and misunderstanding, and disturbing people is the only work of people under his legs slipping,” Dhavalikar said.
Former Panaji Mla and BJP It Cell Convener Sidharth Kuncalienker issued posts on social media that accused the split between TMC and MGP.
“MGP and TMC news are broken floating.
Ensure that with Devendra Fadnivis in the helm of entitulation, something good is expected,” said Kuncalienker.
However, TMC and MGP have expelized speculation.
“It’s a sign that BJP is afraid of losing.
We will fight the election as part of the Alliance and we will form the next government,” Dhavalikar said.
Meanwhile, TMC member Agnelo Fernandes and Anthony Menezes, both of them were previously in Congress, against claims that the party would divide the opposition’s voice.
Fernandes said the Congress was trying to find a reason and failed to prove his credibility.
TMC was sworn in by more than 15 leading individuals in Mapapa and more than 100 supporters in Margao.
