Panaji: Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi during his visit to Goa on Friday will make a door-to-door visit in Sada in Mormugao Taluka and then interact with Congress candidates in Dona Paula to guide them.
Congress has reduced candidates in 37 constituencies, while alliance partners, GFP fight in three.
Gandhi will also meet tourism stakeholders, including the owner of the hut, a representative of the Indian Industrial Confederation (CII) and the Staff of Angganwadi.
Then on that day, he will attend the virtual rally ‘Nirdhar’ in the Sakhali constituency represented by the CM Pramod Sawant.
This will be the second visit of Gandhi to Goa since the party began to get ready for polls.
In October last year, in addition to attending a public meeting in Dona Paula, he also met with representatives from the mining and fishermen community.
Gandhi is also expected to meet with senior party officials before leaving the country.
Initially, Gandhi was scheduled to campaign in Goa on February 2, but his arrival was suspended for his parliamentary commitment.
