Mumbai: Chairman of the Minister of Uddhav Thackeray clarified that the State Business Advisory Committee decided to hold a two-day Monsun session from Maharashtra’s legislature considering the second wave of Covid-19 and the third wave threat.
He also quoted the same reason for the delay in selecting the assembly speaker.
Thackeray stated that in the absence of a speaker, the representative of the speaker had been given the accusation, which did not violate any constitutional provisions or create constitutional problems and the selection of speakers would be held at the right time.

CM Thackeray also clarified that the Maharashtra government has asked the State Election Commission to delay the selection of local agencies against the background of a pandemic.
